Nakhon Ratchasima is located only about 3 hours northeast of Bangkok but it’s not that popular amongst tourists. This is the most romantic province that we’ve been to in Thailand. It doesn’t have those beautiful beaches that Thailand is known for, but it has its charms. Nakhon Ratchasima is so unique that you might ask yourself if you are even still in Thailand. Most of the buildings here are built in an Italian style, however, it doesn’t just stop there. You can walk straight out of Italian architecture into a French-inspired village and then finish your world trip at a replica of the lifeblood of London, the River Thames. From Castles, mountains, waterfalls, sunflower fields to Italian inspired villages, couples can find it all in Nakhon Ratchasima.

3. Experience the sad history of Kanchanaburi
Kanchanaburi is a province filled with so much history and beauty. It’s mostly known for the Death Railway bridge that was built during World War 2, and the tragic deaths of the prisoners that were forced to build this bridge over the River Kwai. Even though this might put quite a damper on those romantic vibes, don’t overlook Kanchanaburi.
The reason why it made it onto the list of most romantic destinations in Thailand is because of the Erawan National Park and Sai Yok National Park. Erawan waterfalls is a 7 tier waterfall and it gets more romantic with every tier you climb up.
