The best time to visit Thailand is from November to February since the humidity is low and temperatures are about 30°C (86°F). Thailand is warm all year round however it has 2 main seasons: summer and rainy. The rainy season is from May until October. The hottest time of the year is May until April with high humidity and an average temperature of 35°C (95°F).
Currency in Thailand:
The currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht. 1 USD is equal to about 30 Thai Baht.
Tipping in Thailand is not expected unless you are somewhere fancy and touristy. In most touristy areas locals might expect a tip, but it’s not common. The reason for this is that they believe in good karma. If they do something for someone else they will be rewarded much greater in the future but by tipping them you give them money as a reward so they won’t get a reward in another way. If you feel like you want to tip then most shops and restaurants have a tip box by the counter that you can use.
